International Welcome: Friday, September 4

International students starting their studies in September 2026 will also attend a special Welcome Day to prepare for being a college student and life in Canada.

Attendance is mandatory for international students for September 4 and September 8 events. Registration is not required.

Looking for additional support to prepare for your college program?

New students with Identified Learning Disabilities have the opportunity to get “settled in" before starting classes with our free Transition to College program. Registration is now open for fall 2026.

Get ready for an amazing start to your college journey with Frosh Week events from your �鶹��Ƶ��վ Students’ Union (SCSU). Start with Neon Navigation — a scavenger hunt around campus once Orientation Day events wrap up on September 8. Learn your way around, snag some snacks, treats, and prizes. Stay tuned to the SCSU website for all Frosh events!

First Year Student Survey

Let's help you achieve your academic goals and learn about opportunities to get involved. New students starting September 2026 are invited to complete the short online survey for a chance to win 1 of 2 $150 Bookstore gift cards at Orientation Day and more. You could also win a $200 Chartwells gift card the first day of classes for on-campus dining. Survey opens August 4!
