This course builds on Chemical Texture 2 by exploring chemical straightening systems such as hydroxide relaxers, Japanese thermal straightening, and keratin-based smoothing treatments. Students will compare chemistry, timing, and application methods, and practice safe techniques in protection, sectioning, and tool use. Learners will refine techniques across all hair types and textures. The course emphasizes inclusive, client-centered service and timing aligned with industry expectations.
